WaterTrader is owned, run and maintained by a group of enthusiasts. We live and work in the United Kingdom however the guys and gals that help live throughout the world, some in the UK, some - such as our very own surfing guru Bill Morris who lives in the US.

We have been running WaterTrader since it's conception: 1st June 1998. Ever since the sites launch we have received e-mail's each day, both with praise and suggestions as to how we can improve. Not one day goes by without receiving e-mail's, notification of a free-ad submission, or a Guestbook entry. Cheers guys (& gals!)

So here it is - the new WaterTrader. If you don't like it, tell us. If you do, we wouldn't mind hearing that too!

We are all fanatics about water sports. Some of us dive, some of us windsurf, some of us try it all (badly sometimes!). We do it because we love it, it's that simple. A question we get asked a lot is why have we opened up shop? Because after all this time, the motivation we get from your e-mail's still keeps us going, and we want to give you what you want. So, we want to grow the site but that takes money. Writing a web page costs us nothing, but servers do, so do freebies (you love 'em!), and advertising costs a small fortune. By opening up shop, in conjunction with partner companies we will receive a small amount of commission which we will put straight back into the site and make sure it keeps getting better. We didn't want just any shop, we made sure our prices were low, but with high quality support on everything you buy.

There are many things we have planned for the site. Hopefully now, with your support we will be able to add them, and more. So keep it up!

Bottom line is - WaterTrader is not a business, simply out to make a quick buck on the Internet - our motto is "To Teach & To Learn". We do not know everything, but by having this site we put ourselves, and you, in touch with people who do. That way we all learn something and can share the knowledge on the site.
